Every charity needs lots of cash,

That's why we hold our regular bash,

And invite all of you to come,

To make some money and have some fun.

Well once more it is that time you will hear,

Us calling on you to volunteer.

Sad but true...

This was broadcasted by a program of Channel 2 called XXX last 14 Feb 2011.
We are not passing any judgement on this situation, but we are well aware that situations like this happens in our community.

Introduction

We, the graduates of Holy Trinity Academy-Girls Department, Batch '77, in Balic-Balic, Manila, Philippines decided to make a difference since most of us have reached our Golden year last 2010.  It  made us realize how lucky we are to have our families and friends as we cross the half century mark of our lives.  With this in mind, we thought of those less fortunate elderlies who were placed in homes because they were abandoned by their families and nobody wants to take care of them.

We thought that a small amount (P100.00/month), if pooled together will go a long way in helping them.  We are extending our invitations not only to our batchmates but also to all those who, like us, would like to share with them a little of our blessings. -wpc
